BJP picks Raman Singh as its Chief Ministerial candidate

After a meeting held in the presence of BJP President Mr. M Venkiah Naidu, the BJP decided to have Chhattisgarh Unit President Raman Singh as its Chief Ministerial candidate. BJP got 50 of the 90 sets in the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections.
The names of Union Minister of State and MP from Raipur Ramesh Bais and former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judev names were also in the race for the post but the clear profile of Raman Singh made him the ideal candidate. In fact, former Union Minister Judev said that he will not take any post till the allegation on him is wiped out.
